Shipping and return policy
1. SHIPPING
S.C. Girls Own Cosmetics S.R.L will deliver the products within the terms mentioned in the online store for the ordered product(s), meaning within 1-3 days from the date of order placement or within 10 days from that date in special cases, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
If the contract cannot be executed due to the fact that the product or service is not / is no longer available, the company will inform the client about the unavailability and the amounts of money paid by the client for the unavailable product, if they exist, will be reimbursed within a maximum of 14 days.
In case the delivery time cannot be met, S.C. Girls Own Cosmetics S.R.L will notify the customer of the estimated time of delivery completion.
If S.C. Girls Own Cosmetics S.R.L receives incorrect invoice or delivery information, it may refuse to honor the delivery, without this being considered a breach of the contract or it may establish a new term for the fulfillment of that order.
Local shipping (Romania)
Girls Own Cosmetics products can be delivered throughout all Romanian territory, using the method and the delivery term chosen by the client when placing the order. After your order is shipped, you will receive a notification email regarding the new order status. The delivery time is 1-3 working days for available products (in stock). In rare cases (high impact promotions, Black Friday, unforeseen events, holidays, etc.) order processing may take longer due to a larger volume of packages or the temporary cessation of activity. However, the processing of confirmed orders cannot exceed 10 days.
The processing of orders that include products whose stock was incorrectly reported by our platform or those placed by users who could not be contacted by our company’s sales advisors, will be postponed until the situation is cleared.
Delivery cannot be scheduled. Please do not place orders with delivery specifications on any given day, especially if this period exceeds 3 business days from the date of the order placement. Orders are processed and shipped in the order in which they are received. Thus, orders with such specifications will be canceled. Please place the order 1-2 days before the date you know you are available to receive the package.
Schedule
Orders are delivered by courier from Monday to Friday, to the address mentioned in your order. Weekends and legal holidays are not considered working days. Since we use an outsourced service, we cannot ask our partnering company to deliver on a certain date or time. We are also not responsible for delays caused by the partner courier company. The delivery time is generally maximum 2 days from the moment the package is shipped, but these terms can be exceeded in certain cases such as promotional periods, holidays or periods when the roads are impractical (floods, massive snowfall, etc.).
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Girls Own Cosmetics products can currently be ordered with worldwide delivery through DHL, the costs varying by country. Please enter the destination address at checkout in order to display the delivery rate.
Orders with international delivery will be paid in advance through MobilPay platform and will have a delivery time of 2-3 working days. In rare cases (high impact promotions, Black Friday, unforeseen events, holidays, etc.) order processing may take longer due to a larger volume of packages or the temporary cessation of activity. However, the processing of confirmed orders cannot exceed 10 days.
In countries outside the European Union, in addition to the value of the package, customs duties need to be paid. These are extra fees to product and shipping cost and are not included in the amount displayed and paid at checkout, being specific to each destination.
Mailings cannot be delivered to mailboxes or postcodes. Shipments are delivered to the Recipient’s address provided by the Sender, but not necessarily in person, to the nominated Consignee. Referrals to addresses with a central receiving area will be delivered to that area.
DHL may notify the Recipient of a future delivery or a failed delivery. The Recipient may be offered alternative delivery solutions such as next day delivery, unsigned delivery, forwarding or collection from a shipping center.
If the Delivery cannot be made or the consignee cannot be reasonably identified or located or the consignee refuses the delivery or pays Customs Debts or other costs related to the Shipment, the recipient will be reimbursed only the cost of the products, not including the shipping cost. We reserve the right to keep amounts equivalent to the extra taxes charged to us due to the situations listed above, through the fault of the recipient.
DHL will make every reasonable effort to deliver the Shipments in accordance with DHL’s regular delivery schedules, but these are not required. Girls Own Cosmetics and DHL are not liable for any damages or losses caused by delays.
Order cancellation
You can cancel an order whose status is “Received” directly in your customer account, from the “My Account” page in the “Orders” section.
In case you want to modify or cancel an order whose status is: “In Processing”, this can be done by contacting the Customer Relations Department by email at: [email protected] or by calling +40723101100 during 10.00 AM – 18.00 PM.
You can also cancel an order whose status is “Shipped” provided that your parcel has NOT been dispatched. In this case, the CUSTOMER has the possibility to return / refuse the order. If the client did not inform the company about the wish to cancel the order, declining to receive the parcel is considered an abuse.
Thus, we reserve the right not to honor future orders of those customers who have previously declined to receive an order.
2. RETURN POLICY
According to article 16 of the Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 regarding the rights of consumers within the contracts concluded with professionals, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for orders referring to:
- supply of goods that have been unsealed after delivery, which can no longer be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons;
Therefore, the buyer should be aware that he will not be able to rely on his legal right of withdrawal for unsealed products, as they could present risks for reasons of hygiene or health protection for consumers (eg skin / hair care, makeup, etc.) and Girls Own Cosmetics cannot resell them.
Thus, only those products that are exactly in the form in which they were delivered, accompanied by the invoice, are accepted for return.
We do not accept returns for:
- Products which have been opened
- Products which have been used/tested
- Products which do not have intact labels or have their seals teared/smudged
- Products acquired from different shops
- Products which are not accompanied by a purchase proof (invoice)
- Products with any type of damage to their packaging
These measures are specific to cosmetic products because their shelf life is calculated starting with the first opening of the package. Moreover, for tested or used products there is the risk of transmission of bacteria by transferring the product to another person.If the product complies to the conditions above, please contact the Customer Relations department at [email protected] stating your wish to return it, and you will be contacted by an operator to indicate the next steps.
The products must be returned in their original packaging, with the invoice attached and they should be in the exact same state in which they were received by the customer. The customer is in charge of shipping taxes, which should be paid in advanced. If you have received a damaged product or a different product than the one you ordered, in this case Girls Own Cosmetics will be in charge of shipping taxes. We reserve the right to refuse the return only after the products have been verified and do not meet our return conditions, in which case the customer will be in charge of shipping fees.If the return is solved with a refund, it will be made by bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer in the return request, within 10 days from the receipt of the products. We do not accept packages with repayment or whose sender cannot be identified. We do not take responsibility for returned parcels who are damaged on dispatch or during transport. We do not pick up packages from the Romanian Post Office or any other post office.
